Chapter 6

“No chance to blame anyone? Isn’t it you who blocked him from coming back?” Just thinking about all those girls who liked this guy, Sean Jordan felt sorry for them: “When will I ever see you take the initiative to flirt with a girl?”

“There was one time he took the initiative,” Ethan Brooks suddenly said, as if recalling something, “He was really bold today, asked someone if they’d ever tasted his…” how skillful his mouth was.

Seeing Sean Jordan looking over with excitement, Ethan Brooks deliberately sighed, teasing him: “Damn, it was too much, I can’t even say it.”

Sean Jordan: “……”

Sean Jordan: “!!!!”

Sean Jordan: “An Omega? Pretty? From our class?”

Ethan Brooks nodded, then added, “From our class, but not an Omega.”

He was so serious that Sean Jordan almost believed him, his tone turning a bit earnest: “Who?”

Next to Ethan Brooks, Logan Carter heard him messing with Sean Jordan, curled his lips, but didn’t stop him from talking nonsense.

Seeing Sean Jordan take the bait, Ethan Brooks burst out laughing: “Gavin Dawson hahahahahaha! He came to provoke Lu-dog again today, he’s really something—”

Before he could finish, Sean Jordan’s expression faded: “Him…”

Ethan Brooks noticed his odd look and casually asked, “What’s up?”

“The thing with Nancy Johnson, I still remember.” Sean Jordan said, “He’s always causing trouble, people who don’t know might think he’s really something.”

Author’s note: Who’s controlling who, it’s hard to say.

Chapter 3 Boys’ Restroom

Before the Chinese class ended, Megan Shaw assigned homework, requiring everyone to recite “Li Sao” within the week and get checked off by the group leader.

Their first group by the window had Logan Carter as the leader. Gavin Dawson squinted at him, and as soon as class ended, some girls were already running over to recite.

Gavin Dawson naturally wasn’t going to recite.

He unlocked his phone, ready to play a game to distract himself. He’d been feeling a bit unsettled these past few days.

Yesterday, at an internet café near school, a friend he knew put his hand on his shoulder. The guy was an Alpha, and for some reason, in that instant, every cell in Gavin Dawson’s body rejected the friend’s touch. If he hadn’t forced himself to hold back, he almost reflexively would have thrown the guy off.

Just as he was about to start the game, Ian Scott sent him a message. Gavin Dawson was puzzled why Ian Scott, who was sitting right next to him, couldn’t just talk, but when he opened it, it was a photo of Logan Carter.

Logan Carter seemed to have just exercised, his hair slightly damp, sweat hanging from the smooth muscles of his forearm.

He was holding a bottle of mineral water, drinking, his single eyelid half-lowered, looking a bit childish.

The whole photo was bursting with hormones, and it was obviously taken secretly.

Gavin Dawson: “?”

Ian Scott retracted the photo and turned to explain, “Sent it to the wrong person, I meant to send it to the ‘Holding Up No.1 High’ group.”

“Holding Up No.1 High”—the group name sounded impressive, but actually all the members were Omegas from Ningcheng No.1 High.

Last time Gavin Dawson glanced at Ian Scott’s phone, the group was discussing which Alpha at their school had the biggest dick.

Really no limits.

“Still taking secret photos? If you have time for that, you should memorize the text.” Gavin Dawson tapped the big characters ‘Li Sao’ on his Chinese book: “Li Sao isn’t as flirty as you.”

Ian Scott giggled, then suddenly noticed something and nudged Gavin Dawson: “A freshman just said you’re handsome. If you were an Alpha, he’d definitely chase you. There’s a whole string of ‘yes, yes, yes’… Xiao Duan, you’re pretty popular.”

“Then tell the freshman,” Gavin Dawson started his game, “if he wants to chase, just chase. Xiao Duan is waiting for him.”

Ian Scott just took it as a joke and didn’t think much of it.

Gavin Dawson might be a flirt, but Ian Scott knew him well—ever since they were kids, Gavin Dawson only liked girls.

That Omega in the group really seemed to like Gavin Dawson, still complimenting him. Ian Scott just shook his head inwardly.

In the afternoon classes, Gavin Dawson basically slept through them.

He was especially tired today, feeling out of it. There was just one last class left, and after that they’d be allowed out of school for dinner. Gavin Dawson lazily headed to the restroom.

He was groggy from sleep, but everyone else was wide awake. Especially when the wind blew through the corridor, his scent became even more obvious, and students kept glancing at him.

“Where did Gavin Dawson get all that pheromone on him?”

“Probably from hanging out with Omegas, doesn’t he use scent blockers?”

“Boss is boss, so cocky.”

Gavin Dawson vaguely heard people talking about pheromones, but he wasn’t feeling well and only caught bits and pieces.

He thought he just needed to pee, so he hurried to the restroom, but even after relieving himself, he didn’t feel much better. In fact, his head felt even dizzier, and his whole body had a feverish, hazy feeling.

Gavin Dawson rubbed his temples.

Just then, someone walked past him. The other person’s scent was fresh and clean. Gavin Dawson’s height was just at the level of that person’s ear, and his gaze couldn’t help but drift upward.
