“Miss! Be careful!” The maid, startled by Aivina's speed, hurriedly lifted her skirt and chased after her. She never imagined that the usually calm and composed young lady, who had even been a bit intimidating these past few days, would now be so anxious.
At the entrance, Sharl was still surveying the surrounding garden when her peripheral vision caught a glimpse of a figure. She turned her head to look at the mansion's grand door.
“Aivina...”
At that moment, Sharl seemed unconcerned about what the guard at the door might do. She simply lifted her leg and stepped forward, heading toward Aivina.
But Aivina was not as “calm” as Sharl.
She dashed toward Sharl, arms wide open, and leaped into her embrace.
Sharl barely had time to open her arms a little before she felt the soft weight of Aivina crashing into her, causing her to stumble back a step.
Aivina held Sharl tightly, and whether it was because Sharl had grown weaker or Aivina had grown stronger, Sharl felt a slight difficulty in breathing as Aivina locked her in place.
But strength was a good sign; it meant Aivina was healthy.
With her chin resting on Aivina's shoulder, Sharl smiled faintly. Unable to move her arms, which were firmly held, she slowly raised her forearm to wrap around Aivina's slender waist.
“I’m back...” Sharl gently stroked Aivina's back and said, “Sorry for sleeping so long...”
Aivina didn’t respond or loosen her grip to look at Sharl. Perhaps she was afraid that if she let go, Sharl would disappear again, or maybe she didn’t want Sharl to see the vulnerable, teary expression on her face.
Sharl remained still, allowing Aivina to hold her until her keen senses detected more and more eyes turning in their direction. Then she softly said, “Darling, let’s go inside and talk... okay?”
Aivina still didn’t move, like a robot programmed only to “hug” without a stop button.
It wasn’t until Sharl slid her hand down, intending to lift Aivina and carry her inside, that Aivina rubbed her eyes and then grabbed Sharl’s wrist, turning to lead her into the mansion.
Once they were inside the room and the door was closed, Aivina turned around, placed her hands on Sharl’s shoulders, and pushed her against the door, taking a deep breath before asking, “Where on earth have you been...?”
“I don’t know,” Sharl replied innocently, shaking her head slightly. “Tala said I was unconscious for three days, but I had a strange dream. It felt like I was trapped for hundreds of years... because I couldn’t see you in the dream.”
Sharl could tell that Aivina seemed a bit angry. She racked her brain to come up with some cheesy lines to cheer her up... but she wasn’t sure if they worked.
Just then, Aivina suddenly leaned in, turned her face, and bit down on Sharl’s lips.
The slightly rough action caused Sharl’s head to hit the hard wall behind her with a dull thud.
Sharl didn’t resist; she let Aivina vent her emotions until she calmed down.
Aivina bit and nibbled, and it wasn’t until Sharl accidentally choked and coughed a few times that Aivina slowly lifted her head.
Aivina’s actions... were as rough as ever.
Now calmer, Aivina looked at Sharl’s pale face and the silver line at the corner of her mouth mixed with blood, and a pang of guilt washed over her.
She placed her hands on Aivina’s shoulders, leaned forward, and rested her forehead against Sharl’s shoulder.
The earlier actions seemed to have drained all of Aivina’s strength. At that moment, she just wanted to lean on Sharl’s shoulder, feeling the familiar scent and warmth, and she didn’t lift her head for a long time.
“I’m sorry...”
After a while, Aivina’s soft, almost tender voice finally broke the silence.
Now that she had calmed down, Aivina realized she had been too focused on venting her own emotions, completely neglecting Sharl’s feelings... Sharl hadn’t meant to leave without a word; she must have felt the pain of separation just like Aivina, perhaps even suffering from other pains.
“I was too selfish... only thinking about releasing my own emotions...”
Aivina’s shoulders trembled slightly, and when Sharl felt the warm liquid on her shoulder, she raised her hand to gently stroke Aivina’s back.
“I love you.” Sharl cupped Aivina’s face and spoke softly.
Aivina froze. The redness around her eyes hadn’t faded, and her deep, dark purple gaze flickered with a hint of panic and confusion. But slowly, her expression grew resolute.
“I love you too, Sharl.”
The two girls held each other tightly, savoring the warmth of the moment.

PS1:
Sorry! I failed to add a chapter today!
I suddenly thought of a great idea. I can definitely write more, but I can save the extra chapters for later!
That way, if my computer hasn’t arrived by the time I get back, I can just use the saved drafts instead of taking a break!
Rest assured, once I finish moving, I will definitely make up for it with a big update!
Good night!!!!!!

PS2: Here’s a recommendation for a friend’s orange-themed story, “Seedling,” which previously had great success with a sickly wheelchair-themed orange story (though it got banned!).

【Sick Leave Notice 1/3】Sick Leave
I might have really reached my limit. I woke up around four this afternoon, and my head has been pounding ever since, getting worse and worse. I can’t write a thing.
I’m taking a break to get some rest and will make up for it with an update tomorrow. Sorry.
Good night.

Chapter 263: Windsor’s Death Sentence (4196 words)
“Is that so...”
In the room, the two girls sat side by side, Aivina tightly holding Sharl’s hand as she pondered and recounted the changes of the past few days.
Sharl listened to Aivina’s account, occasionally shaking her head gently.
The good news was that thanks to Charles’s intervention, the Dedton Member Hotel hadn’t faced any major issues, and the damage to the second floor was conveniently covered up with the excuse of a “gas explosion.” Overall, it hadn’t affected the common people of Ansu City much.
Moreover, those around Sharl had not been harmed by the incident... except for Lucy.
But there was still bad news.
The death of Qiangyin hadn’t stirred up much of a commotion in Ansu City, nor had it caused significant ripples in the political sphere. On one hand, Qiangyin’s influence was primarily felt within the realm of the extraordinary, and on the other, Charles was actively working to consolidate and eliminate Qiangyin’s remaining forces.
Various organizations were stirring, all too aware that with Qiangyin’s death, Ansu was left with a puppet queen. Whoever could control the queen could become the next “Qiangyin” behind the scenes.
It was easy to foresee that Ansu’s future would not be peaceful; turmoil was bound to occur... A powerful empire was facing internal strife, and if not handled properly, it could spark a world war that spread across multiple nations.
In addition to the national-level bad news, there were also issues related to Qiangyin’s death.
Lafayette had gone missing, and Mond was likely to follow suit; Princess Windsor’s frontal lobe, which contained Qiangyin’s correct memories, had also vanished and needed to be checked; Princess Vitalis had returned to her homeland, clearly aiming for the throne; and without Qiangyin’s suppression, the Order of the God of Order was now eyeing the Savior Goddess Church with great interest...
Time had been rewound in reality, and the fact that Sharl had brainwashed Mond had also been reversed... Mond, who held the information about Adele and the violet antibody, needed to be dealt with quickly; at the very least, her memories regarding Adele had to be completely erased.
Qiangyin was dead, but the impact he left behind had not dissipated. Sharl was right to remain vigilant; in the coming days, she needed to address the subsequent effects one by one—though compared to Qiangyin, these matters were hardly significant.
Sharl had already figured out ways to win over or manipulate the two major churches in her simulations, and for the other people she needed to find, the obstacles were getting higher and higher. As long as she found the right people, she could handle them on the spot.
“Do you have a moment, Aivina?” Sharl looked at Aivina beside her and asked.
“Mm-hmm.” Aivina raised her chin expressionlessly, signaling for Sharl to go ahead and say what she needed.
