On his right, Bai Yumo was equally unwilling to be outdone, pressing closely against him. Though she didn’t hold onto his arm, she gently tugged at his sleeve.

Yun Yueyao leaned slightly to peek at Bai Yumo, a playful smile dancing on her lips. Bai Yumo, however, blushed and lowered her head, yet her grip remained firm.

Clearly, Bai Yumo was more bashful, easily outmatched by Yun Yueyao’s boldness.

Before Bai Feng could say anything, Yun Yueyao lifted her head and spoke first:

“Bai Feng, I didn’t come just to see you. I should have waited until after I reached the Transformation stage to find you, but I thought about it and realized you’re already caught in a dangerous whirlpool. Plus, I just couldn’t hold back.”
