Chapter 10

Ethan Grant said, "This is a little token of my appreciation."

After he finished speaking, he lit it. With a "whoosh," the firework shot straight at someone's face and exploded with a "bang."

Chris Foster: "......"

The bangs continued without pause—ten in total, each one perfectly accurate.

Before Captain Foster's eyes, colors burst in a lively display, making a deep impression of this Sealer.

After finishing one round, Ethan Grant grabbed several more, densely arranging them beneath him, wanting to see if he could blast him down.

Chris Foster said, "Again?"

Ethan Grant replied, "Saving you."

Chris Foster asked, "Do you believe that yourself?"

Ethan Grant was succinct: "I do."

As soon as he finished, he felt his arm being poked. He paused the game and took off his glasses, seeing Little Nurse standing by the bed, reminding him it was time to eat. He said, "Give me five minutes."

Little Nurse said, "I've come by several times already. This is the latest you can eat. You can't delay any longer."

Ethan Grant said, "Just five minutes."

Little Nurse replied, "No."

Ethan Grant ignored her.

Getting no response, Little Nurse poked him again. Seeing him uncooperatively dodge, her program activated, and she burst into tears.

It wasn't a soft whimper or a choked sob, but a full-on wail, almost heart-wrenching.

People outside heard the commotion and rushed to the door, including two AIs, all looking at him.

Ethan Grant maintained a blank expression for a few seconds, glanced at these annoying AIs making a fuss over nothing, and said, "Fine, I'll eat."

Little Nurse instantly went silent and happily brought him his meal.

Taking advantage of the break, Ethan Grant switched back to the game and said, "Something came up, I have to log off. Good luck."

With that, he casually lit another firework and vanished without a trace.

Chris Foster: "......"

He didn't want to stay lying down, so he logged off as well. After thinking things over alone for a while, he opened the alliance chat group and said with a smile, "Who's online?"

His voice, deep yet gentle, had charmed countless fans.

No one in the group needed to see the name—just hearing it, they knew it was the alliance's male idol. Everyone popped up, asking what he needed.

Chris Foster said, "Help me find out which club recently started playing the closed beta, including all projects."

It was a small matter. In less than half an hour, Chris Foster got a response.

There were indeed people from other projects who had come to Youmeng, but they'd all started a month ago. In the Youmeng project, there were five newcomers who had just entered the closed beta—three from other races, and only two were demons.

Chris Foster figured it must be the Warlord and Swordsman. He messaged Swordsman privately, telling him to log in.

Swordsman had recovered by now, feeling flattered and unsure why the big shot was looking for him.

After calling him, Chris Foster remembered his own character was still stuck in a bug, so he told him to wait a moment, logged in to check, and luckily found his character had gotten out. He then told Swordsman to close his eyes and follow, took him through a dungeon, gave a few instructions, and started kiting the boss to bite him.

Swordsman was immediately chased all over, his HP dropping fast.

The contrast was too obvious. Chris Foster thought to himself that his judgment was right—full-immersion mode might be a factor, but it wasn't the whole story. That Sealer was truly skilled.

And he was almost certainly not from a club.

To be sure, Chris Foster double-checked and got a definite answer, which made him excited. As a club owner, he had to sign this Sealer before anyone else discovered him.

Having made up his mind, he started waiting for the Sealer to show up. Unfortunately, he waited until nightfall and the other party never returned.

The next day, he waited again, but still didn't see him. Worried he might have missed him, he regretted not adding him as a friend. After thinking it over, he opened his personal page and asked a few friends to help forward it.

So that day, fans saw their long-missing idol finally resurface. Tears of joy filled their eyes, but then they all froze, staring blankly at his latest status—

A friendship at first sight feels like years apart.

Brothers remain after all hardships, a smile upon reunion erases all grudges.

Love's five, waiting for you to log in [heart][heart][heart]

Chapter 05

"???"

"Honey?"

"What is this?"

"Is it really him? Not a hacked account?"

"Love's five? Trash?"

"Honey, what's wrong?"

"Honey, I miss you so much ahhh [kiss][kiss][kiss]"

Amidst a flood of question marks, all sorts of confusion appeared, and soon someone analyzed it.

"Let me get this straight: it means he met someone he really clicked with, then had a falling out, and now that person isn't logging in, so the idol is calling out for them to come online."

"Who can't see that? The main thing is, this style is just... off..."

"Yeah..."

The The Foster Family has deep roots, and as the second young master of the The Foster Family, Chris Foster's upbringing is impeccable—he's a gentleman and an elegant nobleman.

And he's strikingly handsome. Features that would look sharp or flamboyant on others are tempered by Chris Foster's own aura, making him neither cold nor frivolous.

With godly looks, outstanding talent, refined manners, and a sexy voice always tinged with a smile, he has successfully charmed wave after wave of fans.
